The Full Breakdown

Takomo LUMO M1 makes low-torque putting easier than ever

Modern low-torque putters have a bad reputation for being too complex, overly technical, and visually loud. Takomo LUMO putters are here to make low-torque putting easier, more accessible, and—more Takomo.

Low-torque putters like Takomo LUMO are engineered to minimize the putter head’s natural tendency to twist or rotate during your stroke. This promotes a pure, pendulum-like stroke where the putter face naturally stays square to your target path.

The LUMO M1 is a high-performing low-torque mallet putter with a clean, simple, soft D-shape design. The LUMO M1’s compact, rounded mid-mallet silhouette sits beautifully at address. High MOI, a deep center of gravity, and a long alignment line make low-torque putting easier than ever.

The one-piece head of the LUMO M1 is machined from 303 stainless steel. This provides instantaneous acoustic and tactile feedback, allowing you to clearly feel the quality of your strike and make your putting more repeatable. The putter face features a mid-depth groove design and is finished with a heat treatment for a traditional, responsive and soft feel.

You can choose between two color options: traditional Satin Steel and high-contrast Black DLC.

Customers praised this golf club for excellent face control and true roll off the face. One customer "moved from Scotty Cameron" and called it "brilliant" with "super good value." Shoppers love the look and feel confident over the ball. Minor feedback: some prefer a bigger grip and longer length.

Moved from Scotty to Lumo M1

Moved from Scotty Cameron to Lumo M1. Very happy with my decision. I could not recommend this putter more. Brilliant. Super good value.

I have been playing the M1, I love it. I feel like I have much better face control. Much easier to hit my start line and the misses are much more manageable.

Really like the feel and look of the putter. My only feedback would be that I’d prefer a slightly bigger grip, and the putter itself feels a little short.

So far it’s been a very solid experience I’ve had a few people tell me that they think the putter looks really good already. I also feel very confident over the ball. In terms of performance I have not noticed a difference to my previous putter. Overall very happy and would definitely recommend to others.

It comes off the face very well, and it's a true roll.
