The Full Breakdown

Takomo LUMO B1 combines traditional looks with low-torque technology

Modern low-torque putters have a bad reputation for being too complex, overly technical, and visually loud. Takomo LUMO putters are here to make low-torque putting easier, more accessible, and—more Takomo.

Low-torque putters like Takomo LUMO are engineered to minimize the putter head’s natural tendency to twist or rotate during your stroke. This promotes a pure, pendulum-like stroke, where the putter face naturally stays square to your target path.

The LUMO B1 is a high-performing low-torque blade putter with a minimalist Nordic design. The center of gravity is pulled toward the putter face, resulting in less onset compared to LUMO M1 mallet giving you a clean look at address. Sculpted into a compact, wide-blade silhouette, the LUMO B1 balances forgiveness and control.

The one-piece head of the LUMO B1 is machined from 303 stainless steel. This provides instantaneous acoustic and tactile feedback, allowing you to clearly feel the quality of your strike and dial in your distance. The putter face features a mid-depth groove design and is finished with a heat treatment for a traditional, responsive and soft feel.

You can choose between two color options: traditional Satin Steel and high-contrast Black DLC.

Very impressed after first practice session

I just got my new satin finish Blade style putter. Right out of the box, it looks great and putting with it feels great. I took it to my course practice green today and was really impressed with how easy it is to get putts online and how well mishits react. I putted several from 90 feet away and knowing I wasn't hitting the dead middle of the face the putts still came off very consistently. I am very happy with my purchase.

Fantastic feedback

This putter is the best I ever owed! Feedback is incredible, you immediately feel a mishit but results even on mishits are very good. This one goes exactly the way you want.

Now my Takomo bag is complete: Ignis D2 Driver and Woods 7 and 5, 101t Irons and SF002 Wedges.

Great job @Takomo!

Weight and balance sit right up there with big name brands. I think no more 3 putts

Really love the weighting and how it sits at address. Super stable swinging it as well. Keeping the face square is really easy. My only feedback would be the top line is a little thin. Not necessarily a performance issue maybe just a personal preference. Overall I really like it!

I really enjoy the look of the Lumo. It has a simple, sleek design that looks great at address without being distracting over putts. The low-torque design feels perfect for me. I’ve never been completely comfortable with zero-torque putters because I prefer a slight amount of face movement throughout the stroke, and the Lumo gives me exactly that. The face feels incredibly easy to control from start to finish. Face control through the stroke is a 10/10 for me. Also the grip is perfect for the putter with the weighting and size.

I’ve switched over from the lab putter, and I was worried first about going to a blade putter again for the tempo control. The club actually bounces off the face quickly and nicely, really enjoy the way it feels during contact. You have much more feel around the speed and start line then what I was used to.
