Worst irons ive ever played. Cheap metal and feel terrible. The irons were scuffed up on the bottom after 2 rounds. Was also 20 yards shorter than every other iron ive played. Not sure what the fake hype is about but they arent good irons.
Great irons for me, I prolonged them 1" and did a 2 degree flat lie. My shots stay on green, no more than three feet from the landing place. I know each clubs distance. These irons are easier to get up in the air as the weight are distributed different. I also get more spin on my 5, 6, and 7, I get them higher and that makes them stop faster.
This is my first iron set after my beginner set. As a 22hcp I went for the 201 so I would have something to grow into. Got the clubs yesterday, went to the range today and it was honestly the beat I have ever hit irons. I love them, cant wait to hit the links.
Great product but tour customer service took me over one month in a bit to get my product as well
Had an issue with my set, but the help email replied quickly and got a new one out to me in 2 business days. That level of service combined with the nice performance of the set is worthy of 5 stars

Takomo has a good direct to customer- service, but it comes with a cost of course.

I recieved my irons in the mail today. I bought them and they showed up on my doorstep in a week. I played a round with them today. They are amazing at hitting greens. I had a couple of shots that had backspin which I like. If you strike it well you get rewarded. If you mis hit it you don’t get overly punished. I had a couple that I thinned and pulled but I was still in play and didn’t lose a ton of yards. I love how these look at address. These are a solid set of irons.

Very poor experience with Takomo Irons. First, it took forever to receive my irons. Second, the irons are very poor and not easy to hit. Finally, the customer service was extremely poor. Mostly AI and then no help when I finally received assistance from a real person.

I love these irons! They are absolutely forgiving on missed hits. And they added about 15 yards to my game. It took me a couple driving range outings and a full 18 rounds to find my swing with them as they weigh less than my old Taylormade r7’s. That and the fact that these are fitted for me. The +1° upright is, to me, a significant change in swing. Im looking forward to playing more golf here in the future.
