These are literally art. I am almost scared to install these on my current shaft’s knowing they’ll get dinged up because they’re that gorgeous. But at the same time, I cannot wait to experience the technology these have and to see my game improve!
I am pleasantly surprised the MBs are so forgiving. As an midhandicapper (hcp 15) I I wasn´t sure I would master a blade. I cannot say I master the blade, but the mishits are not worse than with my former Ping i230 and the good hits are instead so rewarding. The sound and feel when striking pure is so nice. I am still working hard to get better at forming the shoots. That was the whole purpose of getting a blade, to form the shoots more to the specific situation. Must say that the looks of the MBs played a significant role in the decision to buy them as well. I have had the MBs for three weeks now and am looking forward to see what can be done with some more time to get used to them. I also just bought the 101 iron and some wedges from Takomo. The wedges are fine but the 101 iron (in the 3 iron setup) looks a little bit chunky in the bag when compared to the MB. I whish that the 301 MB was available in 3 iron as well. I would have preferred that.
I went with the composite shafts Obsidian 115X in MBs together with midsize grip for the MB. They feel great. I was not sure that going away from steel shafts was an good idea, but I seem to have been lucky to get a good match. I swing about 85 mph with an 7 iron. The composite shaft takes away a little bit of the bad feeling in my hands at mishits but I can still feel how/where I am hitting the blades.
Played with these 5 months now and I could never believe how good they are with right shafts.
Ordered with KBS tour 120g stiff but shafts were too high launch and spin. Changed shafts to KBS $ taper 125g stiff + and results was better for me. Could use x stiff also but I don't want hit too hard on course so these are fine. I can swing 105mph with 7 iron when training but on the course will keep it 85-90mph for accurate shots.
KBS tour shaft is a little bit too soft feeling for feedback compared to $ taper what gives nice vibration to fingers when hitting unpure shot.
I don't get it why people scares blades... They really works like your instict when talking about distance control and shot shape. I don't mind if I have to take one bigger club compared my previous TM stealth or what my friends are playing because I'm more often beside flag on the course with these fantastic blades. They works like a charm!
Going back to game improvement clubs in the future? Never! I'll quit playing golf before playing clubs like tennis cracket. 301MB is best of the best!

Im not saying these clubs took strokes off my my game, but they do hit and sound heavenly. Great set my 32 handicap

An incredibly accurate and forgiving club!
I was a bit skeptical about buying this club to replace my 4-iron, but I couldn't be happier with it.
Don't pay attention to videos by pros complaining about some minor flaw in this club. For amateurs like me, age 65, 4 handicap, it is a perfect aid especially out of the rough.
My first round with my new 60⁰ was rough, but to be expected with any new club. After a couple rounds I started getting tons of backswin on greens and my control with half and 3/4 swings felt so much better. Definitely has given me a lot more confidence than my last 60⁰ wedge. I think I'll be looking into replacing the rest of my wedges with Takomos in the near future. Definitely recommend if you dont want to spend an arm and a leg on clubs!
My first custom set and I can not be happier with my choice. Takomo you have outdone yourself with these irons the feel so good the ball explodes off the face and so easy to shape my shots

Clubs are excellent. As advertised. Very smooth and forgiving. Great weight, great balance - very easy transition from my old clubs to my new ones.
Takomo/Shop customer service was terrible. From the time I ordered my clubs until they shipped out six and a half weeks later, I had no updates on the Shop App to which part of the process my order was at. A lot of waiting in the dark. I’d like to believe this was a one off because Takomo makes an excellent product and I look forward to using them again in the future.
