These wedges are just as responsive as any i have used in my 45 years of playing golf.

These are by far the best irons I’ve ever swing coming from a big name brand. These are equal quality, but better in price.
Went from Mizuno JPZ 919 tours to the 201 mkii. Ordered just the heads and the project x lz shafts in. First time out I was having a tough time adjusting, but the biggest thing I noticed was the misses were ending up the right distance. Slightly thin or slightly chucked I was still at the yardage I needed to be. 5 rounds later and embracing the fact I'm not drawing the ball and I'm half a club longer I don't know if I'm going back.
I love these clubs!! 66 first round, 67 second and love the feel and workability that they give.
My Takomo 201 MK11 irons have arrived and they are awesome. They look the absolute business, feel great and sound amazing when you hit the sweet spot. Ive not gained any distance but they feel far more balanced than my last clubs, I matched them with the KBS tour lite shafts and it seems to have worked. only negative was the delivery lead time which took a while, but I think they were worth the wait. all in all very pleased. thank you
I decided to play more golf this last year and my ball striking finally outgrew my game improvement irons. So, it was time to upgrade this spring and I went for the 201MKII. These clubs look, feel and sound absolutely fantastic. There is a lot more feedback than my old set, distance control has improved, and they're still pretty forgiving when my typical toe-side miss creeps in. Unfortunately the 8 and 9 iron in my set came with small rust spots on the back, so customer service told me to just go ahead and play them and they would get replacements sent out right away. Replacements arrived this weekend, look flawless, and I never missed a round while waiting. Thank you for the great customer service Kaarlo and thank you Takomo for not only making a great product, but also standing behind it.

Ich habe gestern meine 201er Forged Irons mit dem KBS tour light stiff Schaft bekommen und bin dann sofort auf eine 9 Loch Runde gegangen. Meine vorherigen Schläger Taylormade P790 waren auch sehr gut, aber mit den 201er ist das einfach ein andere Klasse vom Feedback und Schlaggefühl. Mein jetziges HCP 15,6 wird bestimmt noch ein paar Punkte runtergehen, da die Präzision und die Genauigkeit der neuen Schläger im Vordergrund steht.

Received them yesterday. Right after a round of golf. They are in my bag and ready for Friday's round. I do love the way they feel (weight, med grips, length, etc) I'll let you know. Probably will take some getting used to.

I play those irons since 2month, break 80 becomes really simple since I can control my carry distance better. In my opinion Stock yardage and feel is similar to Titleist 620cb.

I took these for the first time onto the course yesterday, after a few driving range sessions. I was skeptical after the driving range sessions, but onto the course (par 3 track though), all skeptism dissapeared. So accurate, very forgiving, even if i hit it not dead center. with my old set, i could have taken a new ball then, not here, played my first 9 with one ball, isntead of 5 or 6.
I noticed also distance, very accurate as well, all bring me within a nice radius of my desired range and position. I checked them with trackman on distance as well, and they all have a nice gap of 8 to 10 meters, giving me a lot of accuracy to work with.
Super happy with them, next week i am gonna take them up for a golf weekend and multiple full 18 holes. Already excited about it now i played with these clubs
Cannot speak highly enough about these irons , i have only recently gotten into golf and broke 100 the first time using them , the online fitting tool is awesome and works a treat !!

I have really enjoyed my 201’s. I have gamed them for two years and there is normal wear and tear.
I ordered 201 heads only as I wanted to get them assembled with KBS PGI 70g shafts trimmed to R+ and 1/2 inch longer and midsize grips. I have since been out on the course a few times but not played a full round. The clubs are truly amazing, soft off the face and forgiving. However it’s the range sessions I’ve had with them that have blown my mind. I play off a 10 and accepted that my shot shape was what it was and live with it I must. On the range I attempted to hit a draw which is something I have not been able to for years now, but with my 201s I hit a draw, i thought it was a flook, so i tried again, same result a controlled draw. So i thought ok, lets try hit a draw then a fade, my usual shot shapeis a fade,then a draw, then a fade over and over, the shots came off the club just as I wanted. I can’t wait to play a round and try out these clubs in playing conditions. The confidence I have over the ball with these clubs is truly amazing, far exceeding my expectations. A great iron, soft as butter of the face, forgiving, but also workable, great option between a true players iron and a game improvement iron. Highly recommend, you won’t regret your purchase if you buy them.
