I haven't tried them yet as spring is here. Shafts and grips were installed and now just waiting for my local Golf course to open. More update to follow.
I bought these as a decent golfer on my highschool team and they have not dissapointed. The launch that I get is almost perfect and the spin is almost always able to hold the green. The only thing I could see as a downside is the offset in the lower irons is fairly obvious. But since i switched out my p for a 48 degree I dont notice it in the other irons. Overall great clubs for me as an 8 handicap.
I was able to get out yesterday and play. I really like these clubs very forgiving and they've added some distance for me. I am still getting used to them coming from game improvement irons to these is a little adjustment. Overall great clubs that don't break the bank.
I bought 101U 4-iron, to fill the gap between my 5i ja 4h. I've never been great with long irons, but this thing is very easy to hit and I hit it much straighter than other clubs. Feels like a great club for those days when driver or other long clubs won't co-operate with me.
Great irons for a beginner to intermediate golfer. Bought them for my son who is new to golf. 👍🏻
Iv been playing for a year trying to break 90 . Received my 201s yesterday and went straight to the course today shot an 83 ( no lie right out the box). They felt great had a blast playing with them. Thank you for making great clubs obtainable.
These are Amazing I've been thru all of them and the feel is so responsive I love them so far I've only been to the range w them but the distance and accuracy is exactly what was expressed in the advertisement great clubs and would recommend them to anyone who loves the game!!
Do not buy. The reviews on these clubs are all too good to be true. I just purchased the takomo 101 mkii’s on April 9th. Had them two days and 10 holes before the 5iron broke on a very clean tee shot. I had two people with me that couldn’t believe what they witnessed. The club didn’t touch the ground nor did my swing make a divot. The club head flew off after contact. Very disappointed as I took the time to regrip all of the clubs before one broke just 11holes in. The more I read on this, the more I see other customers with similar issues to mine with club heads snapping clean off. It seems most people put the blame on the shafts being used. If I didn’t live it myself, I wouldn’t believe it but the cleanest of shots caused the head to fly right off.
Damn really sorry to hear this. We completely understand how frustrating that must’ve been, especially on a clean strike. This is definitely not the experience we want for anyone. A replacement club has already been ordered for you, and our team will make sure you’re taken care of.

Just finished my 3rd round wearing this glove and I really like it! It hasn't stretched out like some gloves do and feels amazing. It came with my new set of irons but I will probably order more.
The Iron 201 MKIIs I received are simply fantastic. This is my second set of Takomo irons. I had the original 101s as a 22 handicap after a 12 year “break” from golf. With them I dropped to a 10.4. I was hesitant to move on from them. I’m glad I did. I did not lose noticeable distance despite the slightly weaker lofts. I hated hitting any clubs over 7 iron. With the 201MKIIs I am hitting every club with confidence. I absolutely LOVE my 4 iron. The new technology they put in clearly works. Great feel and forgiveness. I also completed the set with the new full face groove wedges. I love them more than my old Titleist Vokeys. The entire purchase has exceeded my expectations.
Irons felt fantastic, don’t get me wrong, but the same day I got them I was trying them out at the range, and after about 5 hits with my brand new 5 iron, the head flew off. They replaced it and it should be here in 4-6 weeks, but it’s unnerving that the head did that. Ignoring the obvious, the irons felt great and flew straight

I have received my custom 201T mkII after 5 weeks everything perfect. I went straight to the golf course and had to try the irons. Compared to my old iron mizuno hm pro, different, not worse rather better. The look, unbelievable. The fitting tool gave me the same specs as my fitting on the pro, but be careful. The grips are unfortunately trash I have already replaced them. All in all, super iron I am happy to have bought these.
Next Order will be the wedges, or maxbe a Putter?

Just shot a 74 within 10 rounds of getting the 201Ts, my previous best being an 80! The workability you can get is great and the short irons feel incredible on approach shots to attack pins - especially distance control wise. Definitely recommend if you want to progress into the single digits, they are still forgiving enough for confidence but definitely require you to develop your swing to be more consistent with strikes.
Clubs are working amazing, extra length helping out a TON, all in all solid clubs, very forgiving.
Purchased the 201 Forged irons based upon You Tube content and reviews. Have always played Mizuno irons. Recently retired by 245s and am pleased I did. The 201's are very good. The top line is a little thicker that the 245s. The buttery fill is close to Mizuno irons. The performance is equal if not better than Mizuno. Am glad I purchased the 201s. My only complaint is the 201 Forged irons are displayed as last batch. I wish they would keep them as they are great irons. Thanks, Takomo!!!
