They’re one of the fastest growing golf channels on the internet, bringing a new flavor to the game and captivating audiences with humor, meltdowns, and good old fashioned camaraderie. If you haven’t heard of Bob Does Sports, they are a golf content powerhouse, watched by golf pros and weekend hackers alike.
Today, Bob Does Sports and Takomo Golf have announced an official partnership. The BDS lads will be bagging Takomos as they continue their path of growing the game while keeping it spicy.
BDS, comprised of Robbie Berger (Bobby Fairways), Joseph Demare (Joey Coldcuts), and Nick Stubbe (Fat Perez), with support from their production crew, have gained infamy across the golf world, sometimes for skill, sometimes for comedy, sometimes for general hijinks, sometimes for eating. Their rise to golf Youtube supremacy can only be described as meteoric and inevitable.
As of this partnership, Berger will be playing the new Takomo 201 MKII irons, Demare will play a leftie 101T (for a few weeks until the 201 MKII is available in leftie), and Stubbe will play a 301 CB. All three of the BDS team will play Takomo SF002 wedges…. And more in near future. *wink* *wink*
“When we first heard news that there was a group of wild lads, cruising around golf courses and muckbanging 59 doughnuts across an 18, we knew we needed to collaborate,” said Sean McCullum, Chief Marketing Officer at Takomo Golf. “The BDS boys are all about showing people a new way to enjoy golf. That speaks to us here at Takomo and we’re excited about the alignment and the future of what we can do together.”
“We love these guys, we love what they start for, we love the energy they bring to the game,” said Joonas Laasila, Head of Partnerships at Takomo Golf. “The boys have big plans for next year and we’re excited to see them reach new heights with Takomos in the bag.”
Takomo is officially and on the record stating that, 100% guaranteed, Robbie Berger will break 80 with Takomos in the bag (no evidence presented, just faith).
